About

Who I Am as a Therapist

I’m Caroline Rapp, LCSW, a depth‑oriented therapist whose work is shaped by Jungian psychology, relational practice, and values of social justice. For nearly a decade, I’ve supported people through trauma, grief, identity shifts, burnout, and the quiet but persistent sense that something in life wants to change. I’m drawn to the deeper layers of experience — the symbolic, imaginal, and intuitive places where meaning begins to take shape.

My clinical background includes community mental health, crisis response, and long‑term therapeutic work. These settings taught me how profoundly people are impacted by their environment and the systems around them, and how essential it is to have a therapeutic relationship that honors both the inner world and the outer context. They also taught me that people carry immense inner wisdom, even when it feels inaccessible or obscured by stress, trauma, or outer demands.

Wild Soul Well‑Being grew from my desire to offer therapy that is spacious, intentional, and grounded in depth. This practice is a deliberate creation of the kind of therapeutic space I believe in: relational, attuned, and oriented toward the unfolding of the psyche.

In our work together, I bring steadiness, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. I’m interested in what your inner life is asking for — the dreams, patterns, and inner figures that shape your experience — and in how we can make room for those parts to be heard. My role is to accompany you as you explore what feels true, vital, and possible, and to support you in reconnecting with the deeper wisdom that already lives within you.

If you’re seeking a therapist who works relationally, thinks symbolically, and honors both your lived experience and your inner world, I’d be honored to connect.

My Clinical Approach

My clinical approach integrates Jungian depth psychology, relational therapy, and values of social justice. My Jungian orientation comes from consistent postgraduate coursework and ongoing study in depth psychotherapy theory and technique. My work is informed by the imaginal dimensions of experience: the dreamworld, repeating patterns, inner characters, and the unconscious dynamics that guide our unfolding. I integrate these layers into therapy in a grounded, approachable way.

I approach therapy as a collaborative, relational process rather than a corrective one. I’m attentive to how your inner world interacts with the systems, relationships, and histories you move through. I bring steadiness, curiosity, and attunement to our work, creating space for deeper self‑understanding, integration, and transformation.

Clinical Expertise

Across nearly a decade of practice, I’ve supported people through a wide range of experiences, including:

  • trauma, grief, and complex emotional landscapes

  • identity development, exploration, and transitions

  • burnout, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation

  • relational patterns, attachment wounds, and relational diversity (including polyamory and non‑monogamy)

  • meaning‑making during periods of change or uncertainty

  • inner conflict, self‑critique, and disconnection from one’s sense of vitality

  • exploration of symbolic, imaginal, or unconscious material

I work extensively with LGBTQIA+ clients across the spectrum of queer, trans, nonbinary, intersex, gender‑expansive, and questioning identities. My approach is affirming and steady, attuned to the lived experience of exploring and expressing identity within a broader cultural context. I hold this work with care, depth, and relational presence.

I work from a non‑pathologizing lens. I don’t view people as problems to be solved, but as complex beings whose inner worlds deserve care, curiosity, and spaciousness.

Who I Work Best With

I work well with individuals who move through life with curiosity and depth — people who feel intensely, question the systems around them, and seek a therapeutic space that honors both their inner world and their lived realities. Many of the clients I support are in periods of transition, identity exploration, or reconnection with themselves.

I have deep resonance with LGBTQIA+ communities, and I hold identity‑related work with care and attunement, centering your personal psychological experience. This is a space where complexity, fluidity, and authenticity can unfold.

I also work well with clients exploring relational diversity, including polyamory and non‑monogamy. I offer a grounded, non‑judgmental perspective that supports you in navigating relational dynamics, communication, boundaries, and meaning‑making within your relational structures.

I’m a good fit for people who:

  • are drawn to depth, symbolism, or inner work

  • move through the world in ways that aren’t always understood or accommodated, and want a space that honors that complexity

  • want therapy that is collaborative and non‑hierarchical

  • feel impacted by systemic harm or cultural pressures

  • are exploring identity, meaning, or direction

  • prefer a therapist who works slowly, relationally, and attuned to the unconscious

  • want a space that affirms their full humanity without requiring exposure or justification

  • are navigating relational diversity or polyamorous structures

If you’re seeking a therapeutic relationship that is steady, spacious, and oriented toward the deeper layers of your experience, you may feel at home here.
